March 16, 201610 yr Individually, I think KD is far and away the better player. Add their respective teams, coaches, and philosophies, and Steph gets the edge. He's just in a position that everyone who ever played the game wishes they had. Same reason the Spurs get the players they get. They're building winning teams. We know each player's role for the Warriors. We can't even agree on who the big dog is in OKC. For what it's worth, I use this same logic to justify my preference of Russ over Steph.
