These two squads met in last year's opening round, with the Purples winning in a lopsided manner. Elliott is making its fifth trip to Rupp in ten years, while Bowling Green is here for a 3rd straight season. The Purples will also be without the services junior wing Kyran Jones, who was ejected in the Regional semifinals.

Can the Lions get revenge from last season, or will BG prove to be too strong again?

Wow. Jones is a major loss for BG. I like the Purples to take this one but the next one will show us if the Purples are the real deal or not.

This game got ugly last year at Rupp. I hope to see a more competitive game this time around but expect the same outcome with BG advancing.

Bowling Green, but not by the same margin as last season.

Won't be as bad as last year but will still be an easy double digit win.

If there is such a thing as a lock in this tourney, it's BG. Hard to make a 40+ turnaround
