Montgomery Co. was an awesome host of 10th Regional Tournament

Okay, I have had my say, why I think the 10th Regional Tournament should always be at the Fieldhouse. Enough said on that subject by me. Now I think it is only fair, putting that decision aside, to acknowledge what a great job MoCo has done in hosting this tournament. Absolutely beautiful facility, great site lines, the great game match-ups in the wide open 10th produced crowds that taxed the facility at times, but security apparently handled that well.

All-in-all, don't know how hosts could have done any better. Hats off to MoCo and tournament director Kevin Letcher. What do other BGPers think? Hope this thread doesn't get high-jacked with another location diatribe.

I agree, Kevin Letcher always does a fine job!!!:ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper:

MoCo.jpg Took this last night, what a beautiful arena. The drive is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I think we overrate the Fieldhouse sometimes. Both great places to watch a game.

Good thread,

Outstanding job by everyone. So many people involved I can't thank them all.

I got there at 5:40 yesterday. My first thought was traffic backup was awful, but it went smoothly into the parking lots. Tons of people going into the arena, but ticket sales were quick and we were in the gym quick. Exiting the arena, there was a good police presence directing traffic and we got away with no trouble. I think those responsible did a fantastic job.
