Christian Villers led the way for the Tomcats with 29 pts, 25 of which came in the 1st half. Bobby Hale finished with 13 to lead the Red Devils. Ashland ends a four game losing streak and improves to 16-9, while Russell closes out the regular season at 5-24.

Record wise, this season looks a lot like the previous two. But, I do think that Strader is the right guy for the job. Russell has kept a lot of games close this season into the 4th period, then proceeded to let the game get away from them in the final 8 mins. They return the core of the team next season, so I'm looking for significant improvement in 2016-2017.

I understand that, but 3-19 in the worst region in the state is pretty telling. Maybe Strader is the right guy.

Greenup went 19-9 , should have been a little better. first winning season in 4 years , Glade to have Coach Kidwell. The team looks so different than the last 3 years. Don't know much about Russell`s new coach, guess the next few years will tell.
