Owen got contributions from everywhere on the court. Dunaway is one of the best outlet passers I have seen at the high school level. The biggest difference in this team from last year is Toftness being able to get to the rim on his own. That opens up a whole new set of problems for a defense with the size of Williams and Dunaway already there.

 

Oldham actually rebounded well on the offensive end, and defended the three well (I think Owen only hit three of them), or who knows how bad the margin might have been.

Last night was a great game for the rebels, they took care of business. Last night showed that dunaway can be big (like when he played for Trimble)

Toftness is being way more aggressive. The bench for Owen came in & played really good! Carson had 29 points & 9 rebounds.. Owen county is playing really good right now, they are passing the ball good & making good decisions.. Coach Duvall has he team in sights of a region championship.. If they do make it to the state tournament watch out for them to make it far

I for one thought it would be a better game, but when the Rebels supporting cast can play like they did last night they will win the 8th region. I know Carson had 28-29 points last night but their team scored over 70, proving that they can beat you as well. Owen will definitely be a hard out rest the way. Congrats on a great regular season to both teams

 

So much for the Litkenhous Ratings. A computer can not visualize a team's heart and determination. I also applaud both these teams for great seasons. Owen County has a great shot at winning the 8th Region and has a good draw in the Sweet 16 if they are fortunate enough to advance.
