BluegrassPreps.com is giving you a chance to show off your football knowledge statewide! The BGP Regional Contests give you a chance to pick games in different parts of the state for prizes EACH WEEK.

There will be five regional contests every week. You will have a chance to pick the winners in each region -- NKY, EKY, Lexington, Louisville, and WKY.

Each region will have five games to pick from each week. We pick the games, and you will pick the winner of each game, assigning your picks a point value of 7-5-3-2-1.

The first tiebreaker is picking the team (of the ten teams in the contest) that scores the most points. You don't have to pick the highest scoring team, you just have to pick a team that scores more points than the team(s) picked by the member(s) you are tied with.

The second tiebreaker is time.

This is a season long contest and you can enter in any or all regions that you wish.

At the end of the regular season, the winner of each region and the next five highest point totals statewide (the Wildcards) will compete during the playoffs for statewide bragging rights on BluegrassPreps.com. If you win more than one position in the postseason playoff then your second slot will go to the next Wildcard.

The best part is, if you win a weekly contest, you will have your choice of a red, royal, or black short sleeve BluegrassPreps.com football t-shirt or a one size fits all royal, khaki, or pink hat, and a Snappy Tomato Pizza Coupon!

The overall state winner after the playoffs will get a custom made grand prize.

The deadline for all entries is 5 pm (ET) Friday.

Be sure to post your winners and assign each of them one of the following point values (7-5-3-2-1) based on how strongly you feel that that team will win. The entries must appear in the following format where your 7pt entry is listed first, then your 5pt game, etc.

7 Team E

5 Team I

3 Team A

2 Team H

1 Team D

Tiebreaker: Team H

Here are the games for this weeks contest:

1. Team A vs. Team B

2. Team C vs. Team D

3. Team E vs. Team F

4. Team G vs. Team H

5. Team I vs. Team J
