burberry Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I was at Franklin Co yesterday and had a chance to watch this young man. Sayre does not have much around him. Off guard, Goodman and point guard Blanton are capable, but outside of that he has to score by himself. This is what makes him most impressive to me. He might be the smoothest player in the city. I give them credit for playing tougher teams, but that also means wins are fewer, which I think keeps him out of spot light. Duby averages 25 points per game and often has to do it while getting double teamed or chased. While in foul trouble most of game yesterday, I was still impressed while he was on the floor. Just putting it out there, because not much is made of his game. From other games, players who impressed me: Scott Co: Cooper Robb Frankfort: Frank and Robinson Franklin: Demarcus Kennedy
PurplePride92 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I had a chance to watch Jake Duby in December and came away with the same impression. Kid can play. Very impressive player but not much publicity because he plays for Sayre. I really enjoyed watching him play.
Juke Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Probably one of the least impressive games he has played was last night. In addition to foul trouble he was sick and throwing up at half time. Averages 25 points (52% overall and 41% on 3's)and 8 rebounds a game.
Bluechipper14 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I think this kid has a bright future in basketball. Heavy weights this offseason along with some serious enough ball handling could place him at a premier D-2 school..... Possible small D-1 once he heavies up with some muscle. He is talented
