mexitucky
We had that planned for Fall Break last year but Hurricane Matthew had different ideas. We rented a Yurt at the Gorge. Close to trails, different type of experience. Most importantly for kids it has a HOT TUB and CABLE TV for down time.
Watusi
I forgot about the campground at Natural Bridge state park. We've stayed there a few times and always enjoyed it. There is tons of stuff to do there if your kids are into the outdoors especially. There is a primitive campground but the Middle Fork campground is for campers and RVs. Some of the sites are small, but some are really roomy. There is a creek that flows through the campground that our kids always enjoyed playing in.
