nWo Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I got some rest but time to go to work again. I looked ahead to next week. We seem to be in for an active week. WKY could get some rain late on Monday but it is the rest of Kentucky that is in question. With the heavy snow pack in some parts of Kentucky the projected above freezing temps need to be taken with a grain of salt. Kentucky looks be sandwiched between two low pressure systems. Late Monday into Tuesday what type of precipitation will fall? Hard to say but I'm watching closely. Also the end of the week looks like something maybe coming our way again. Updates will come as we get closer. CONUS Tuesday GFS Tuesday
All In Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 A lot of what I'm seeing is upper 50's for the upcoming weekend. Was these past few days all the winter for 2016 for this area?

I believe February will be the worst part of winter. After the rain Monday evening into Tuesday morning There is a possibility of snow showers or sleet on Tuesday into Wednesday. Maybe some possible light accumulations on Wednesday. Keep this in mind. With the snow pack parts of Kentucky has the high temps may not reach what is being projected. Wednesday

nWo Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 Just to give a little update. Light rain should move in later this evening. After the cold front moves through on Tuesday some could see some light show showers with little or no accumulations. Wednesday evening into Thursday SEKY has a slight chance of accumulating snow/freezing rain. The rest of Kentucky has around a 20% chance or freezing rain. I will be updating as we get closer. Pura Vida Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I wish it would rain in NKY, I have so much salty dirty gunk on my car. I'm too lazy to find/dig out the garden hose; and I don't want to pay $7 for a spray at the car wash.
