Google Chrome getting a speed boost?

Featured Replies

This article popped up on my news feed the other day so I figured I would post it after reading the thread about Microsoft Edge. Google claims that this new breakthrough will make their browser 20-26% more efficient than the current version, that is quite a boost. I believe i read that the code is open source and firefox will be implementing it in their browser as well.

Still not going to help me navigate CinBell's site. That's where I pay my bundled services fees and get my email. Hell, no matter what computer I use the graphics and any video just crawl and/or freeze on their site. It's extremely frustrating and trying to talk to someone outside this country(their techs) about it is even MORE frustrating. They need to eliminate "Cincinnati" from the name. From what I was told by an installer they know this is an issue but do not want to spend money to upgrade.

I've used Firefox for years but the last two it has been getting increasingly slower.

The same here and I noticed the same thing. I just download Chrome and I'm trying it out.

So far I'm pleased with Google Chrome. It is faster than Firefox.

I've been using Chrome a lot more lately. Firefox seems to get hung up on a lot of websites anymore.
