Big ups out to the 2006 edition of the Muddogs for winning the city championship last week. The boys are 14-15 yrs. old and hail from the NCC-Bellevue areas primarily! This same primary group won the knothole city championship 2 yrs. ago in Blue Ash.....WOOF!:dancingpa

What League do they play in????

Did I hear correctly that there was some "ugliness" in the game maybe involving parents and ejections?

I talked with the coach of the Muddogs on Saturday and he didn't mention anything........Nice article on them in Sunday's Enquirer by Pat Crowley. Sorry I don't have the link!

apparently you are correct...as related to me from someone who was there:

A batter from the Muddog’s got thumped at first base running out an infield grounder. The Dodger's first baseman didn't get out of the way after catching the ball (inexperience I think) and drilled the batter as he was trying to avoid him. The batter’s family took offense and said something to the umpire. The kids’ mom from the Dodgers made a real inappropriate remark and emotions flew. After the first game, Muddog mom got into a conversation with the Dodger mom near a power hungry umpire and he threw her out of the second game prior to its start.
