DevilMusketeer Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Greenup County 73 Garrard County 47 final
PurplePride92 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Garrard County was missing two starters tonight. I wouldn't read a whole lot into this result.
KYgentleman Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 And I also heard that McCollum (arguably GC's best player) has been sick the past few days but has still played. Agree with you PP, nothing to see here.
Smokinaces3 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 26 point win is still decently impressive, i understand missing starters hurts but i still thought the game would be a little closer.
PurplePride92 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Best three players were still playing. You can't take two players out of a 6-7 man rotation and expect that team to compete at the same level. I'm not saying they would have won if fully healthy. I am saying they wouldn't have lost by 26 points if fully healthy. That's all.
Smokinaces3 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 They were winning 22-21 at halftime. 2nd half adjustments, hot shooting, less turnovers, and a huge late 3rd-4th quarter run fueled the fire for greenup. Outcome very well could have changed some with the addition of 3 players but with what took place I'd say Greenup by 15 to 20 still.
