I know there are threads on here every once in a while about people having old game film. Well as a Christmas gift I received some game film on VHS but I need to transfer it to DVD. Does anyone know a place in the NKY or Lexington area that does this? I figure since a number of people on here have film others might know or would like to know a place to get transfers done.

You can do it yourself. The software is sold at Best Buy for under $40. It will cost you $30 per VHS tape to have it converted by someone else. Did it last winter as a project and wound up with 42 DVD's.

I don't know if our computer at home could handle it (it's old) and I'd have to track down a vhs player. I use to have a vhs/DVD recorder combo but I don't remember what happened to it.

It's made by Sony. Called VHS -DVD software They also have it at Walmart.
