bigblueinsanity
Final in the Quarterfinals of the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic. Mason County shoots 24.4 percent from the field for the game. Mason County got down by around 20 and was able to rally and trim the lead to 8. Butler is a very good team and is very long and athletic. Mason County will meet East Carter tomorrow at 4:30.
polarbear98
No shame in this one for Mason. Butler is #3 in the state. Another tough test for them tomorrow.
RoyalWildcat
Not gonna win very many games shooting 24% but that happens. Glad to see them rally back and trim the lead to 8 though, those girls never quit fighting.
sentinel
Butler controlled the entire game and really looks solid in every facet. Good game to watch and Mason fought hard to try and get back in it but never really threatened. Butler is demonstrating why they are in a group of teams that are separated from everyone else. RoyalWildcat
Anyone else believe that fatigue had a effect in this? Lady Royals came off a dog fight Sunday night and were also driving back and forth from Maysville to Lexington while Butler won by 20ish I believe. Not making any excuses because in the big picture this game doesn't mean much but was just a thought.

But let's not forget that Mason didn't make a single basket (including well executed plays giving them wide open looks) for about 6-7 minutes of play time last night, giving them that 24% shooting score... So to play a team that separated themselves from the rest of the pack, and to lose by 8 shooting 24%... Not only is there no shame, Butler should be wondering how they let it the lady Royals bring it back to 8.
