I have also seen studies that don't link any type of knee issues with running. The technology of shoes has improved as has how we train and fuel our bodies. The biggest mistake I see exclusive runners is lack of cross-training, strengthening of core and hip flexors, etc.. We were all born to run.

Knee issues with running are no different than knee issues with squatting...all form.
