This is a tough one for me. I know and love so many kids from both teams. But both my daughters play for HHS, so I guess I'm forced to go with the Birds on this one!

Excited for this game between two really good NKY teams. Should be fast-paced and entertaining.

I got to go with the Lady Birds by 2pts. ! Something like 73 to 71 !:thumb:

With all honesty...if the Birds were perfectly healthy, I would go with them. As is, I think this game is a push.

And I don't think it will be as high scoring as others think. The Birds play really good defense (one of their strengths). And I know the Camels are capable of slowing teams down as well. Pressing will not work against either team, so I think it comes down to who can score in the half court. HHS will keep the Camel's penetration and kicks to a minimum and I think that's where they will have the edge. HHS has a very balanced inside out attack with multiple shooters. They will be down two players (Barth and Clukey), but have developed a lot of depth with some of the underclassmen.

 

I know cc can shoot and fill it up quickly with their defense. But without a real inside threat and HHS ball handling (another strength), I have HHS having a slight edge. However, that's why they play the game. Two really good teams going at it with a bunch of players that know each other pretty well. Can't wait and it should be a great game. Really means nothing and I will be happy for whatever team wins. A lot of great kids and families on both sides!

Wow is right. Both teams playing outstanding D, but a lot missed shots as well.
