Herman Edwards loses his mind on NFL Live

Featured Replies

Old School! Herm is EXACTLY right and there ain't no "but..." statement coming from me.

Herm is not a media guy, he is a football guy. ESPN hired an old school football guy to discuss FOOTBALL. If ESPN don't like it they can fire him. They have too many reporters getting their information from TMZ. How about ESPN getting back to professional sports journalism. I'd prefer to see that. Herm is totally right.

Johnny Football had to get spanked by players from the opposing team last year and by the coach this year. He got benched because he is all about Johnny, not the team. Old school coach don't put up with that. Coach Pettine said, "3rd String bench warmer!"

I think Coach Pettine and Coach Edwards are going to be sharing time on the same sports program next year (if you catch my drift).

I agree with everything you said except this, and could even be swayed on it if I knew that ESPN hired him explicitly to discuss football, but that's none of my business, so I just have to assume he agreed to share his thoughts on whatever the topic became without throwing the organization under the bus which is the way I see it.

Personally, I'm pretty tired of hearing about the bulletin board stuff and anchors pining over tweets. Such is life in 2015 however, so I just don't watch highlights or anything but games for that matter on the self-proclaimed "World Wide Leader."
