You beat me to it. LOL

Maybe just maybe the Valkyries are for real

Talked to s few coaches who saw them in Lexington and they were very impressed with their defense and unselfishness offensively

From an NKY stand point, this makes me circle that Highlands Holmes game in just a brighter shade of red.

I'm not making any excuses at all, but HHS played SH without two starters. (Or one starter and another that in my opinion will start when she gets back on the floor). Excited to get all of the girls (although another one is out for the year) back on the floor at the same time. That's when we'll see how good HHS is. That's taking nothing away from the girls collecting a lot of minutes now. They are actually carrying this team at times right now and what that means is that the depth that I was concerned about at the beginning of the season should not be an issue with this team once everyone gets on the floor.

When is the Highlands/Holmes game?

January 11 at Holmes.

Sacred Heart's chemistry is getting better and better after every game they play. It sure seems like they are playing for each other instead of for themselves individually. Being a young team with only one senior and Junior, there aren't any prima-donna's on this team.

They are also a really good shooting team with multiple players that can score.
