December 1, 201510 yr I disagree whole heartedly with Auburn. If Cam Newton hadn't of gone there would Auburn even be considered amongst the best SEC programs? BUT he did go there and win them a National Title. Plus go back a few more years, Jason Campbell led Tigers went 15-0, so yes, they would still be considered a power. That was the turning point in that program.

That was the turning point in that program. But just look at how they have been outside of those few really great years. Mediocre. One great year every 5 years or so doesn't mean you're one of the top programs in the country, if between those years you are mediocre. Iowa is having a great year this year, does this make Iowa a destination job now?

Not even the same.

They aren't usually in the thick of things. They are either in the national title game or they are irrelevant. I'm not saying they are a bad program, I'm just saying they aren't on the same level as the other schools mentioned. As far as your comments on Iowa
