(AP) — Parking tickets can be paid with donations of canned food instead of cash during a monthlong "Food for Fines" program in Lexington, Kentucky. The city's parking authority will accept cans for citations from Nov. 16 to Dec. 18, The Lexington Herald-Leader reported (http://bit.ly/1HCs4T8). Those who donate 10 canned food items will receive a $15 credit on citations. Customers with multiple citations may bring in 10 cans per citation for the credits.

ThrillVille Cardinal51 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I have to pay the 153 dollars to the City of Warsaw for a speeding ticket. Any word on Warsaw getting in on this action?
GrantNKY Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 LexPark is one of the worst and most evil authorities in the world, but this makes me hate them slightly less. Slightly. Numerous times I will be walking to my car and the meter will have been expired for a minute and there will already be a ticket on my windshield. Seriously there was one ticket I had was placed on my windshield one second after my meter expired. The lady was watching my meter expire and the second it did she placed the citation on my windshield. I asked her if she would take the ticket back since I was right there and she said no. Pure evil. Haha.
