I received an email today from AAU saying nationals are going back to Orlando? I thought Lville was perfect for the college coaches to watch games.

Boys 10-12th grade

It's not surprising. Apparently coaches had complained about coming to Louisville instead of getting their Florida trip. They wanted more of a vacation atmosphere for themselves and the players. So be it.

 

No idea if Louisville really ever had a shot to hold onto that event. It was amazing it ever came here in the first place.

The college coaches loved the event being in Louisville. Centrally located and easy to travel to. Not everyone has a high major travel budget. AAU also changed presidents last year. The guy that brought the event to Louisville is out. The new president is based in Orlando.

I believe the AAU headquarters is based in Orlando.

I just know 7 days is to long and expensive.
