Is this a game thread, or a discussion about seeding and/or the usual private/public drivel?!

Regarding the actual game, I caught the first half and left at halftime but was surprised that the final result remained 1-0 Sacred Heart. NDA looked to be the better team to me but just couldn't finish in the end.

The article in the Louisville paper made it sound as though NDA had more and better scoring opportunities. Sounded like SH finished their lone chance, and their keeper had a great game. Very tough way to be eliminated, will keep you up night replaying those missed opportunities.

NDA will be back, heard they start a freshman keeper, 3-4 sophomores and return some strong juniors. Early, early pre-season favorite to repeat as 9th Region Champs in 2016.

Would be curious if those that stayed shared your opinion. Have not seen SHA play, but they are putting up unheard of defensive numbers. Played all the top teams in KY, Allowed 7 goals the entire year and now ten shutouts in a row. That can't be fun to play against and I mean that as a compliment.

It would be nice to have top teams in final 4 games but just not going to happen with the way the system is. You have to play and beat the best sometime during the tourney. It sucks for regions like the 9th when 3 teams are in top 10 and 2 do not make it to tourney over teams not rated in top 40, but it is what it is. It happens in all sports though, look at football, you have great quarter final and semifinal game and look how often you have blowouts at championship game. No system in HS is perfect, you just have to go out and win the games.

Who were the seniors on NDA? Congrats to all the players and coaches on a wonderful season!
