At the time you were predicting this, almost every other media outlet in NKY was saying rain for Saturday, a forecast that I believe you have now changed to also.

 

 

Almost everyone else says dry for Sunday. But I do agree - Tues-Thurs - wet.

 

Once again I never use any other outlet to make any of my predictions. Now you should go back and look at some of my earlier posts. I never said there would be no rain at all on Saturday. I said during the day they were showing no rain. I plainly said that the rain will start Saturday night.

 

Now both the QPF and PQPF are right now showing rain for Sunday. The PQPF is showing at the moment a 95% chance of rain for Sunday for parts of Kentucky north of I-64.

 

Lastly let me say I just do this as a hobby I never have or ever will claim to be a professional meteorologist.

So far so good, no rain but at least overcast. Temps could be about 20 degrees cooler, have had to run air the last 2 nights. Am hoping the hurricane settles in and spins for awhile in our area. Do you have any stats on the last time we had accumulating snow in our area on Thanksgiving? For as long as I can remember Halloween has always been warm and I have hunted on Thanksgiving in short sleeves before.

I don't have any hard data but going on memory I'm thinking either 2013 or 2014. As of now I don't see much of a chance for snow on thanksgiving this year. Starting around the 7th of November we are looking at above normal temps until around the 20th. Also precipitation chances look to be below normal. The chances for higher than normal temps during the time period I mentioned is around 50-55%. We have the same chance for below normal precipitations. Now, let me say this. This does not mean we can't see cold temps or rain.
