Should go 9-1. With all that happened to this team with the player getting killed it is a miracle they have held it together and have had a good season.

To the contrary. This is a big reason they have done so well. They are playing this season in his honor.

They also lost their top RB in week 2.

Coach should get some consideration for coach of the year as he took this team from nothing and has got them back on track

I agree. To take it a step further, Hopkinsville, Mayfield, Tilghman, Owensboro, Murray, etc., should all play each other every year like the old WKC days (along with others like Bowling Green). Some are in the same district, some in the same region, but I wish all of those schools would make it a point to get each other on the schedules every year.

That would be a pretty good schedule!

Hoptown's schedule isn't bad. They added Murray for the first time in the 1970s and have Graves County. I'd get rid of Marshall County and try for a better team in their home bowl game such as Tilghman or Mayfield.

 

A lot of teams are pigeon-holed by the KHSAA scheduling grid. Everyone is competing to find opponents during the same weeks. They should loosen the grid up some and allow teams to begin district play in the fourth week.

Would love to see Hoptown/PT matchup or Hop/Mayfield. I am not a fan of blowout wins for half of your schedule. I really enjoyed the Murray/Hop game, Mayfield/McCracken game and Christain/Graves games this year.

Would love to see more of those in WKy!

Also heard they have lost 10 starters this season due to jury & discipline
