The score does not reflect how poorly the Juggs played in this one. Sloppy and riddled with mistakes. Happy for the win and excited for the boys but got to call them how I see em.

I have seen Lloyd play 3 1/2(Grant Co) times this year. They have been sloppy and mistake ridden 60% of the time.

Their athletiscm lets them get away with a lot, but against more discipline teams ala NCC, their mistakes will prove costly.

Tark you hit the nail on the head. Lloyd has 2 separate teams. The mistake filled/ sloppy Juggs with terrible play calling. Then the juggernauts who come out and absolutely roll their opponents and are superior in every way. This yr is this best chance at winning district and could honestly make it to the regional championship game. BUT they could self implode at any moment and lose against any team.

NewCath is mistake ridden as well.

The gamr was not good at all. Yes the JUGGS win but to many missed opportunities. Every time Newport got a pennalty the Juggs would turn around and give the yardage right back. Time to clean it up Juggs.

This is high school football not nfl who by the way also make mistakes these kids are learning the game . Don't think I've ever seen a perfect high school football game mistakes are going to happen but the senseless penalties need to stop alot of that falls on coaching if a player keeps getting these penalties put him on the sideline the juggs have plenty of talent to replace them.. The juggs will be fine like I said don't think I've ever seen a perfect game at any level.

The win vs. Garrard County was a darn near flawless game all around. That is the level the Juggs need to strive for each and every week. They can do it, and have done it. If a state championship title is their goal (which should/better be) they need/have to do it.

Hey JuggAlum, Did they attempt to get the ball into Gaines hands last night? I don't care if they get run out of Newport next Friday, I want to see him touch the ball 12-15 times. Throw it up to him and let Charles make a play. I'll take my chances.

I agree that is what they need to strive for and I thinlk it's possible however the juggs are still a young team they have a very talented sophomore quarterback that is going to have growing pains and a junior quarterback that is very athletic but dont throw the ball very well thats where alot of the mistakes come from . On the defensive side they have gotten alot better over 7 games I still think they will be in the conversation for that title for at least this year and next

Yes they made it a point to get the ball to Gaines. Not as much as I would have liked but they did throw several time. They just need to challenge what ever corner that is covering him once every 3 plays.

I respectfully disagree, their arms are about the same. The INTs are what kills and Runion is not the one who throws them. Fann's biggest issue is that he already has his mind made up once the huddle breaks of where he is throwing it. It's plain as day and very obvious. Now with that being said he is a sophomore and that is an understandable issue that comes with the youth and inexperience. BUT with that being said they have Runion who has a better understanding and poise at the position so there is no reason to not have him in.

Not even close to the same arm have watched them play since they where probably 8 years old and alex runion is one of my favorite kids but he can't throw the ball like fann if he could fann would never get in the game he would be strictly jv as a sophomore

Fann can arc a deep ball better than Runion but it has went straight into the hands of the D as many times as it has went for a TD. Have talked to a few of the kids and asked them about the QB situation and they all said the same thing. "Runion has a cannon don't know why he doesn't stay in, they throw about the same. Also he is a better athlete and more experienced we want Runion in at all times."

IMO I think the Turner and the staff are starting to figure out that Runion is the guy that is why he is playing more and more each week. And Fann is playing less and less.

Maybe ask the QB coach what he thinks. That would be interesting. Or does Lloyd have a Qb coach??
