October 4, 201510 yr Anyone been to Branson? Not sure what to expect. I'm hoping somewhat like Gatlinburg used to be 20 years ago. I know they have lots of shows I can see but probably won't do that.

October 5, 201510 yr I spent one night there a couple of years ago. Everything is off the charts expensive and there was nothing to do aside from dinner shows, at least the evening I was there.
October 5, 201510 yr There is plenty of shopping and some putt putt courses, but mostly county music or old rock shows, would suggest eating at Lambert's resturant, which is on the highway that leads into Branson, it has been on the food channel a few times, they throw the rolls, food comes out in bowls and you get as much as you want.
