Corbin 36 Jackson County 0

Featured Replies

Final from Thursday night.

Wow

Jackson Co must be greatly improved, held Corbin to 36.

Running clock in the 2nd Quarter at 28-0

Both coaches agreed to it.

They musta been really out matched

Jackson County, bless their hearts, may be among the 10 weakest teams in Kentucky.

Their lone win was over Berea who is probably one of the three weakest teams.

I feel bad for Jackson County. They had some very positive momentum going a few years back with that Coaching Staff and even won 6 games.

I am not sure where Coach Shearer ended up though.

Jackson Co. had about 27 players(they do have a lineman who can really play though), which is not good, especially if you are 3A. They may need to drop out of the district and try to schedule down as much as possible. They can't gain any momentum without having some sort of success, at least in my opinion.

A game like this doesn't really do much for their opponent either, Corbin's 2 starting RB's carried the ball once each that I can recall. Corbin has a bye next week, then have to travel and play Bell Co. after basically being off for 2 weeks.
