How will the new playoff format affect 3A???

Everyone is talking about how the new playoff format will impact 4A, and the Louisville Big Three in particular. How will the new system affect the 3A playoff picture? I assume that Highlands and CovCath will likely play in the second round (instead of the third, where they normally play each other). What other big matchups will now occur at an earlier time? Which 3A teams will likely be helped most by the change, and which will be hurt most by it?

concerning HHS and CovCath: nothing changes here. Whoever wins the regular season game will have homefield advantage in the playoffs. The regular season game will be at HHS this year. Whoever wins that game (playoff) will be on the road for the semis. Really in 3A the games are pretty competitive after the first rounds, so it really does not make much a difference.

It won't really affect 3A. 3A kind of sets the standard for line-up and play, quit complaining. Besides, to most, its only for 4A.
