September 26, 201510 yr I didn't say that either and you know it. The bottom line as far as I'm concerned is that unions protect bad employees, and just to be perfectly clear for you I'M NOT SAYING ALL UNION MEMBERS ARE BAD EMPLOYEES. With all the government regulation that unions have helped create they are no longer needed. Unions are still needed. Government regulations don't protect fair wages, pension, health insurance, and a fair grievance process. Unions protect bad employees. Unions also protect good employees.

You're a union big shot, you've benefited form the largess of your union so I understand why you're biased. I've never been a union member and if I have my way I never will be. I'm unbiased.

You're a union big shot, you've benefited form the largess of your union so I understand why you're biased. I've never been a union member and if I have my way I never will be. I'm unbiased. I'm biased because I have put my neck and reputation on the line for many deserving people that were fortunate enough to be able to keep their job or were able to right a wrong. Not because of the 175 bucks a month salary from Steelworkers. Believe it or not there are plenty of supervisors or people in positions of authority who have a list of people they simply don't like or purposely set out to do things that are unethical or flat out illegal and against the law. Without unions it would be the Wild Wild West out here. It's pretty scary to me to be honest. As for the bad employees that I am bound by union bylaws to represent.....the ones that were truly bad either are no longer employees or they are on borrowed time. No matter how bad they are they pay their union dues and if the union doesn't represent them then they can sue the union. It's tricky but if the case against them is strong then they will be terminated.
