NDA has been up and down this year. Lost to Lex Cath, then beat them in the rematch. Just lost 3-0 to Sacred Heart.

Has NCC played any teams the same caliber as Lex Cath or Sacred Heart?

No comparison between the strength of schedules, NDA has played a lot tougher schedule. Their matchup on October 5th will be played at NCC ,which will clearly help NCC, should be a good game.

With both NCC and HHS on the schedule soon for NDA, we will find out a lot in the next week to ten days.

How long will the grass be at Morscher for the NDA game?

Not the top team until they beat ND but definitely one of the top two.

They are #2 until the NDA game and the SK game should also be a good test. Not really challenged yet this year so we shall see. They do have a top shelf goalie and striker and are tight in the back but will they be able to play at the pace of the higher level teams.

NCC will be tested this weekend provided they get by there first round game in the ALL A State, if so they will play Owensboro Catholic in the semis.

If NCC gets to Owensboro Catholic it will be a real test. OC is 12-1-0, only loosing to #2 Assmption and some strong wins, beat #1 Sacred Heart. OC goals for, 76 Vs goals against, 10 is remarkable and with a stronger OAS then NCC. OC's OAS is 6.99 to NCC's 6.33.

NCC should have no problem with #129 Oneida Baptist Institute with an OAS of -5.87. How in the world does a team like this make the quarter finals, says a lot about the All A.

Huge difference in level of opponents for NCC and Owensboro Catholic, still have to go with Owensboro Catholic, don't see NCC staying with them.

 

Ironic on the boys side Bishop Brossart plays #83 Oneida Baptist Institute with an OAS of -4.94 in their quarter final match. Not much of a quarter final game on either side.

I could be wrong but, the same thing was said in 2013 when NewCath won it all, beating both Bethlehem (semis) & O-Cath (Finals).
