Big game for Casey Schneider tonight, he went 3-4 with 4 RBI's and threw two guys out at second from behind the plate.

Congrats on the win, ang good luck to the Tigers against Ryle. Should be a Classic.

Congrats also to Mr. Schneider, sure it will be game he won't soon forget.

I was surprised at some of the chances that Walt took early when it was still anyone's game. Missed opportunities early doomed St. Henry. The Beechies swung the bats well all game, scoring in every inning.

I would agree on part of that, I dont blame him for stealing like he did, Casey was strugling a little bit this year with throwing runners out, but did an outstanding job tonight.

So did BW save Curley?

Yeah, Chas Moore threw tonight.

Yeah, Chas Moore threw tonight.

Which was a good move on Bobs part, bc Chas has been outstanding all year, and saved his ace for the ship.

Agreed. Good move by Bob. I assume that Pat will throw Ryle's ace, Brent Humphrey tomorrow. Should be simply one outstanding game.

That's the match-up I expect, and since he was throwing a no hitter against BW though 5 innings before being taken out...the last time they played.....I would say so. ;)

Congrats to Beechwood and St Henry on a great season. Walt really turned that program around from 11-19 to 19-14.

Congrats to Walt and his crusaders on a very fine season and good luck to the Beechies in the regional final against Ryle. Curley better bring his "A" game though because IMO if he pitches like he did against Covcath, Ryle will capitalize being a better defensive team than Covcath and beat Beechwood. But then again, maybe Curley has been saving his best stuff for this game. Should be a great game! Good luck to both teams

Yes, at least to me, he took his team out of the game early, and every time Beechwood was at the plate they were scoring a run. Personally I was disappointed by the play of St. Henry, as I thought they would give Beechwood a better game.

As we talked Raiderback04, I was extremely disappointed by the low turnout. Playing at a great field, and having four very good teams playing in front of such a small crowd was disappointing, to me at least. I was really surprised by the low turnout by the NCC, and even the St. Henry fans. Hopefully Ryle and Beechwood will have a slew of fans there tonight......

Baseball doesn't generate the same level of interest as football and basketball for whatever reason. I know that many people in Orange and Black actually took off when we were down 6-1 thinking that the game would not be resumed after the brief storm visited. They sure missed one of the more exciting comebacks in local baseball history. What a great venue for the regional tourney. I do hope there will be a better turnout for tonight's final.

See you tonight Raiderbback04. Hopefully we be sitting in the same seats as last night, and I know all the guys I was sitting with will be there tonight, as we all love good baseball. BTW thanks again to the Florence Freedom and Champion Window Field for letting the 9th Region play at their field. It is indeed a great place to not only play on, but to watch a game at.......
