After getting their first win of the season last week, CovCath now hosts Columbus (OH) DeSales on Saturday in Park Hills.

The Stallions are 3 - 1 on the season and ranked #7 in Ohio Division D-III, coming off a good win over city rival Bishop Hartley.

Wins

Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH)38-27

Canal Winchester (OH) 27-22

Chaminade-Julienne (Dayton, OH) 42-17

Loss

Lancaster (OH) 13-3

I don't think CovCath has ever beaten DeSales so, until they do, I'm going with the Stallions.

Article from the Columbus Dispatch on the DeSales wins over Bishop Hartley:

DeSales regroups to beat Hartley

With two-way star Austin Andrews on crutches and his left knee in an elastic wrap and almost having blown a 17-point lead, DeSales looked to be in a fix at halftime against Hartley.

The Hawks have been the first name in the Central Catholic League lately, and two of the many reasons have been attitude and explosiveness.

This time, the Stallions also flexed their muscles with four stops on fourth down and erupted for touchdown passes of 63 and 25 yards by Dylan Todd to come away with a 38-27 victory over Hartley in front of a capacity crowd on Friday night at Jack Ryan Field.

Should be a hard fought game. Desales has to travel to us, and it's on a Saturday. That certainly doesn't hurt us.

I'm blindly going with CCH by 7.

For comparisons:

Desales opposition

Canal is 0-4

C-J is 0-4

Bis Hart is 3-1

Lanc is 4-0

CovCath vs Ohio opposition:

St. X is 3-1

Sycamore is 1-3
