My daughter goes to Manual; I we went to the game and glad we did!

Manual (M) came out strong and aided by undisciplined Ballard (B) penalties ran it in for an opening TD. B came back and took it to the Manual 1, but stalled and turned it over on down. M's next possession they got to 3rd and long and threw a Pick 6, but B missed the XP. M threw another INT in 2nd Q which set up a long pass catch and run for B. B goes for 2, but misses and it goes to the half at 12-7 B. In the 3rd Q, both teams score TDs, but MANY mistakes are made by both teams. In the 4th Q M marched to the B 5yard line, but errors again cost them and they settle for a 35 yard FG (19-17 B). M then hold on D and forces B to punt, but poor M special teams costs M as the ball settles on the M 1 (ball hit around the 15 and rolled down the field). M then starts to drive and get to 4th and 7 from their own 20 yard line. They go and throw a bomb, which is completed with WR wrestled down at the B 30. 2 plays later, #29 for M takes it to the house. M leads 24-19 with 2:36 to go in game.

B get ball and starts to march. 3rd and long B throws it up on the sideline and the receiver makes a Lynn Swann acrobatic catch for B to sustain the drive. GREAT Catch! B then gets to 3rd and 15 around the 35 of M and is aided by penalties to gain a first down. With about 1 minute to play, B throws it up to the front corner of the end zone, the receiver comes down with it and as he is gaining possesion is stripped by a M defender. The ref was right there and called it incompleted. I was in that back corner of the end zone and thought it was a TD, but it was a bang-bang play. Next play M is called for pass interference. 1st down at the M 13 with 14.5 seconds to play. Pass incomplete on first. Last timeout with 7 seconds to play. B QB throws it up in the same front corner and the B WR has his hands on it, but so does the M DB and as they come to the ground the ball comes out and Incomplete! ALL the B and M students had left the stands and were packed in the corner of the endzone. It was a really fun scene and great game!:thumb:
