Good luck to Coach Gay. Known him for a long time. Did a great job as a coach years ago.

Yes, he is a real outstanding hire. Wish him nothing but the best!

Heard his players would not respect him and he just lost control but that is just hear say

That's irresponsble of you to suggest that if you don't have first hand info. Why try and disparage a guy's name if you don't have the facts and just "heard" something.

McCreary Central's a tough job, no one has had success, and no one likely will.

Here i checked with someone in side the administration and it is very true and worse than I thought. And yes you are right it is a very hard program to coach at, there is no community support. If you'd like i can PM you and tell you the extent of what happened.

TRUE REDHOUND could you please PM me with the information as well???

A few year back I went with my buddies who refereed the McCreary Central/Williamsburg game. It was totally a different experience. Only going to one game their at MCHS, I can attest to the fact that there iss absolutely no community support. There were more Williamsburg folks there. I think it was when this year's graduating class were sophomores.

The atmosphere there for excitement was nonexistant.
