Injuries made this game a lot closer than most thought.

 

South had 4 turnovers all on fumbles. McElwain ran QB all night and South was run heavy and took their time taking a lot of time off the clock between plays which made this seem a lot closer than it should have been.

 

 

North Hardin ran a hurry up mixing with passing and running but really never got a lot going and had several turnover on downs.

Best defense in 4a without a doubt !one of the best in state !4fumbles lost 2 inside 20 0 points

South has the best defense I have seen in years in high school football! They are going to be very tough in 4a this year. They are by far my pick for state champions this year....

Injuries or not, North fought hard in this game. South has an incredible defense, just like they did a year ago!

We look forward to hosting North next week, you' all come on down and get some good BBQ before the game. It's a good little town to host a Friday night game.

Big shout out to #44 what a class act for north Hardin came over to our side after game to make sure to shake hands again and tell our kids what a good defense we have .

Heard it was a quality game. North offense struggled to take advantage of turnovers. Heard from some SW fans after game how North players all showed great sportsmanship and fought hard in the game
