If you haven't seen the Slusher kid from Beechwood play you are missing one heck of a show. All the young men mentioned thus far deserve the recognition, but I would have to put Slusher on another level.

Brett Slusher (Beechwood) - He plays outside on the strong side. Somerset and Ironton ran away from him a lot but still racked up tackles and when he wants to get pressure on the QB he gets it.

Defense doesn't get nearly enough recognition , thought we could give those kids on the defensive side of the ball some spotlight.

I said I believe that Trey Hicks is one of the better LB in NKY . I also agree UK#1 that SK has some talented LBs .

He is all over the field and usually delivers some hard hits. Of course he is also our punter, kicker and either OG or RB. I just wish his intensity would rub off on some of the kids on the team.
