He does have some good players to work with at CAL. One that impressed my last year was Emma Wesley.

I personally think Perry will do a great job at CAL. It is my understanding that the previous coach had been fired from 2 previous head coaching positions before they hired her at CAL. I'm not sure why they made the hire in the first place if that is true. The AD that hired her also left right after he made the hire, (I'm not sure if he was fired or not) and possibly the new AD wanted his/her person in the position. I was told they were very competitive over the summer so I would agree with PTB that they could shock some teams.
