Putting some names around the Brossart scoring:

 

Another quick start for BBHS and another stellar defensive effort. Midfielders Rolf, Parnell and Chism made things difficult all night long for Boone County. Zalac, then Hildreth, combined for a great game in goal and had some impressive saves.

 

First half

· Dylan Geiman’s free kick, after a foul near the box, went off the goalie and Jake Sendelbach rushed the goal and popped in the rebound. 1-0

 

· Joey Hickman breakaway on nice through ball from Nate Miller – the goalie came out Joey lofted a gentle ball over and in. 2-0

 

· Boone got one on an upper deck free kick 2-1

 

· Dylan Geiman busts though defenders, pulled the goalie off balance, and sent a sweet cross to Bryan Duffy, who finished. 3-1

 

· Short corner kick from Parnell to Chism who sent a looping pass to Brent Geiman in the box, who had a perfect header into the upper right quadrant. 4-1 at half.

 

Second Half

· Joey Hickman takes on multiple defenders, comes out the other side unharmed, and lands a left foot into the back of the net. 5-1 Final.

 

JV lost 1-0 in a tough fought contest.

 

Mustangs take on NCC at Mosier Field in Silver Grove at 2pm on Saturday.

Dylan Geiman, #14 (?), is a big, strong boy. He also has some speed. I was impressed with his play.
