Owensboro 16 Warren Central 7 - :09 2nd. Devils have two possessions inside Dragon 20, but only come away with three.

The second quarter was fairly brutal for Central, but they ultimately only gave up 3 points after making a huge gaffe and not fielding a kickoff. Owensboro started inside the Dragon 20, pinned them at the 2 after a punt, then returned the next punt to the 10. They could only manage a field goal with that.

The Dragon D has been holding decently well, bending not breaking, but have been put in poor position multiple times by special teams blunders. The offense has not moved well but also was starting from the shadow of the goalposts multiple times. And my God the personal foul penalties.....

Dragons pick up a first down, but then have to punt. Owensboro can really put the hurt on with a score here.

Central recovered a fumble at the Owensboro 32, but a bad snap on second down kills the drive. Nothing doing offensively for the Dragons.

Warren Central manages to stand tall on D again, forcing a three and out. They take over on their own 18. 42 seconds left in third.

What's the score DF?

Owensboro 16 Warren Central 7 - END 3RD. A lot of back and forth but no scores in that quarter. Dragons have to find offense.

I think lack of depth is catching Warren Central too. They look tired. Offense just hasn't done it.

Owensboro 23 Warren Central 7 - 8:43 4th. The short fields finally catch up and James scores from 18 yards out. Might do it.

Matter of fact I say it will do it.

DF is it as sloppy and ugly as the tweets from War-Prod. And BGDN make it sound?

Dragons started at Owensboro 39. Three straight incompletes followed by an 11 yard sack on 4th down. Sums up the night.

Owensboro 29 Warren Central 7 - 4:56 4th. The extra insurance score puts it all the way away.

100%. Lots of first week stuff happens but the personal fouls upset me.

Owensboro 29 Warren Central 7 - FINAL. Owensboro ends the game with 22 unanswered.
