August 21, 201511 yr Before the All-Star Game HR Derby: Frazier .284 avg 25 HRs 57 RBIs in 85 games. Pederson .230 avg 20 HRs 40 RBIs in 89 games. After the All-Star Game HR Derby: Frazier .182 avg 4 HRs 16 RBIs in 31 games Pederson .167 avg 3 HRs 7 RBIs in 28 games Granted the HRs and RBIs will be less because of fewer game but do the Math. Things are not looking good for either one.
August 21, 201511 yr Has nothing to do with the HR derby imo. These guys take a lot of bp that you never see on the field so one night like that should make no difference. I think it's more that teams refuse to let these guys repeat 1st half performance and adjust to that.
