Can Highlands not kick field goals? When I am thinking of "X" factors, it would be something that the opposing team does not have that I do. Correct?

I was referring more to the distance he was kicking in camps this summer. He was apparently on the "Watch" list of r=college recruiters because of his distance. He was hitting 55 yarders in camps into the wind so the rumors were.

So, wouldn't the bigger story be if they were "unwilling"?

Trust me when I say this, Highlands kicker has distance as well. Witnessed numerous 55 yarders myself and according to kids on the team has been good from 60 on several different occasions. This position would be at best be a draw between these two teams.
