Cov Caths first 3 possessions started inside Camel territory and they took advantage of it by punching it in on all 3 drives. It was 20-0 before anyone blinked. Halftime score was 23-0 Colonels. Camels played better in the 3rd and was at least able to sustain a long drive and score and the defense played better in the 3rd. Varsity score was 23-7 after 3 and the colonel JV punched it in 2 more times in the 4th to bring the final to 37-7. Cov Cath looked fast and both teams made mistakes but correctable mistakes. I believe both teams came out healthy and the scrimmage showed what they to both need to work on.

I liked the way the Colonel Defense played. Campbell's lone touchdown drive was aided by an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, and two pass interference penalties. Outside of that, Campbell really struggled to move the ball.

 

The secondary needs some work though.
