Anyway, all that aside, I'm not saying there's no chance that the likes of Mayfield, DeSales, Central, Belfry, and Johnson Central wouldn't potentially be able to hang a loss on Cov Cath (after all, Beechwood beat Cov Cath last year), but I don't see all 5 of those lower division schools beating Cov Cath. After all, Cov Cath did beat Johnson Central in the playoffs last season.

Here's my issue though... I could see all those teams beating Dixie Heights and Cooper.. but both are ranked ahead of CovCath in your Power Rankings

 

CovCath did beat Johnson Central... but Johnson Central also returns the entire farm.

 

Most years I think CovCath is a safe bet in the Top 25... but I would also say they are safely considered one of the Top 3 teams in NKY most years as well... but if you have them at 6... and some teams ahead of them aren't exactly juggernauts... I have to defer to your sense on them as I don't have the best grasp on what they will look like come the end of the month.

I think Cooper will surprise a lot of people this year. I can see them in the 18-25 range. Their schedule is brutal, and I think with 19 returning starters and a solid sophomore group building depth that they will be right in the mix. Of course, I am biased.
