Bourbon County 2015/2016

Featured Replies

Basketball season for 2015/2016 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Bourbon County Remember, please be constructive.

Colonels mounted a solid run in the post-season last year, upsetting Montgomery County in the 40th District semifinals & losing a heartbreaker to Paris in the title game. Bourbon County loses a lot from last season, including leading scorer Landon Sexton, but junior Ameryon Blackburn was the team's #2 scorer in 2014-15. Big man Billy Orcutt is another returning starter who will provide front court stability.

It seems like Bourbon finally has some stability with Nick Sosby at the helm of the program. I hope the second-year coach can continue to build on the progress made a year ago.

Best of luck to Coach Sosby and the Colonels, I hope he stays for a while.

Coach Sosby does an outstanding job and is passionate about Bourbon Co, which is what they need. They will be competitive in just about every game this year. Not sure what final record will look like, but they will battle.

One thing that has hurt Bourbon in the past several years is the change of coaches. I remember Bourbon was a powerhouse in the 10th region in the past is this related to so many different coaches? Different systems to learn? I feel that Coach Sosby will do a great job at Bourbon since he is an Alumni.
