Parents have always and will always think they are a better coach, and evaluate talent, better than their coach. Regardless of the sport! It has been going on forever.

 

As far as the setter, I question if she was the obvious choice. I will agree it was her job to lose. I guess she lost it when she decided not to play.

That doesn't mean they're wrong.... and volleydad isn't a Cooper parent. Generally where there's a lot of smoke there's fire.

I cannot argue that they are wrong. I imagine that they are correct sometimes and incorrect other times. I was just stating what I believe to be a fact.

 

If there isn't a fire, it tends to be smoldering of frustration.
