Anyone else see the Jeff Ruby's add on the leg of the #3 horse in the Preakness?

Wonder what that costs......

Preakness? Are you stuck three weeks ago?

That has been done for the last 3 or 4 years. Net Jets, Jeff Ruby etc. Also AP's jockey's boots had the Monster logo on them. Jockeys won a lawsuit a few years ago to be able to wear advertising.

They're still restricted in the Derby though, aren't they? Or do I just overlook it?

Jockey pants down the leg had ads. Think Monster boots were also worn then.

I guess it just doesn't register with me. Besides, I'm sympathetic to those guys and the low pay they get relative to the risk to their lives. They're every bit as injury-prone as NFL players, and without the pads. Nobody in the NFL gives up a 12-1 advantage to an opponent that could hit them, with or without pads.
