Did you mean to say "if your kid isn't there getting better" or "getting better with her team" ? Like Sumo, I have neither a spelling degree, nor an English degree, but how you parse this sentance makes a huge difference in the interpretation.

April, May & July is for AAU. Most high school coaches are only going to schedule games during the month of June, after that other sports come into play. Some schools like Mason Co will go to these "exposure" events and perform well(team Shively is one). Either with your school team or a AAU club playing against top competition is important. I will say this, playing with you HS teammates during these events is probably the most economic way to go.

I must not have any degree......because i am not sure what you are asking? I think if your high school team is participating in something, you should play with them. If you choose to go with your AAU team, dont complain if someone that did do the summer "stuff" with the team takes your DD's spot.
