4-7 was certainly a disappointment and things kind of spun out of control at the end of the year, but things are looking up for this season. The Titans have a lot of young talent returning including upcoming sophomore Nasean Roseberry. Nasean rushed for 161 yards and 4 touchdowns and caught 2 passes for 73 yards and a touchdown against Western in the playoffs. Linebacker Nick Eades, quarterback JR Lucas, and offensive lineman Seth Staples all saw a lot of playing time last year as freshman and should be big contributors this year. Speaking of offensive line, Collins returns seniors Kolton Alvey, Trei Axline, and Kyle Goss, who were all big parts of the state championship OL two years ago. With Leland Cardwell and Jalen Stone on the defensive side of the ball, Collins should be solid on the line on both sides of the ball.

 

I think 6-4 is very reasonable with 7-3 possible as well.

Collins knows they have the guys to block, throw it and run it but they will have to develop the guys to catch and play the secondary. They are the athletes to do it but must gain the experience to finish the job. Coach Lucas has a lot of talent to work with. NO reason why this team will not be playing in the Region 2 championship.
