Lawnboy13 Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Drawing was today. May 25 - Wolfe/Leslie 1 PM May 25 - Estill/Knott - 4:30 PM May 25 - Jenkins/Powell - 11 AM May 25 - Perry/Jackson City - 6:30 PM Who is the favorite?
All State Baseball Posted May 23, 2015 Author Posted May 23, 2015 I'd have to say Estill but Jenkins is pretty awesome. Powell and Jenkins met last year..Jenkins won the regular season game but Powell won the one that mattered. So who knows how this will turn out... Not taking anything away from these teams but Estill should have a cake walk to the finals but remember, anything can happen...
Four King Crazy Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Was the umpires that blew the Johnson Central HR that call in state tournament from the 14th Region?
The Professor Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 It's hard to get a handle on how Estill matches up with the rest of the 14th region (other than their district opponents) because they mostly play a Bluegrass schedule. So you really can't judge them by their won-loss record. A loss to a Lexington or Madison County school doesn't prove they can't win the 14th. But one thing is for certain, they have definitely dominated the 14th since becoming a new member in 2006.
