coldweatherfan Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Playing at the Hideaway Cafe. I haven't seen them in over a year. Just funny to me that I'm going to see them in Florida instead of Kentucky.
Hellbird Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Wish I was there to see them with you. They have become my favorite band and favorite concert to see ever since I saw them the first time.
coldweatherfan Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 I've never been to it before, but this venue looks really cool. It's called Hideaway Cafe. The Hideaway Cafe & Recording Studio | The Hideaway Cafe - St Petersburg's Original Listening Room! 1756 Central Ave, St Petersburg, FL 727.644.7895 It's a restaurant/bar recording studio. Only seats 100 people. They open the doors at 6:00 pm and serve dinner from 6:00 - 8:00. Menu looks good and they have a solid beer selection. Prices are very reasonable. Show starts at 8:00pm. Tickets for show are $8.00 and are general admission. They sell on-line until they have sold the 100. Then night of the show they sell some standing room only tickets for the bar. I bought 20 tickets. Gonna introduce a bunch of friends to Sundy Best. Swamprat, you and the Mrs want to go?

We would love to, but my daughter-in-law has scheduled my son's surprise birthday party for that day, over in Apopka. Mrs. S also had major surgery last Monday, so we may not make the birthday party, either. Thank you for the invite. We'll have to get together for charred meat, smooth bourbon, and cigars at some point.

coldweatherfan Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 Sundy Best definitely rocked the house. I don't think the place were prepared for all of us kinfolk. They sold out the 100 seats, and had 75 or so standing in the bar and along the walls. We ran them out of beer. They had to go out and buy more. Twice.
